We can e-mail the Church Notices out to you every week, this saves us paper and means you find out what is going on even if you cannot get to Church. To add yourself to (or remove yourself from) the mailing list see the option in the "Contact Us" page.
Session House/Church Hall Bookings
The use of our churches and the Session House in Abernethy and Church Hall in Glenfarg by any group in the communities is to be encouraged. To book the facilities in the Kirk of St Bride contact Elizabeth Taylor on 01738 850477 and to book facilities in Arngask Church contact Sheona Reid on 01577 830388. Arngask Flower Committee
Sincere thanks to all who have donated flowers over the past year. They have been much admired and appreciated. If you know of anyone who is sick or in need of flowers for a special reason please let us know. The list for 2018 is now available in the vestibule at Arngask if you wish to add your name.
Fine Bone China Mugs with pictures of both Churches beautifully illustrated on them are now avialable. They are now on sale at both Churches at £5 each.
S. Club Abernethy and Arngask
We invite all children to join us on a Sunday at the S. Club for reading, games, crafts etc. while your parents/carers are in Church. However if you wish your Parent/Carer to join you at the S. Club they are very welcome to do so. Arngask 9:30 am, Abernethy 11:00 am. We are also desperately seeking volunteers to help run the S. Clubs on a Sunday. If you think you can help out why not have a chat with the leaders: at Arngask Shhena Chisholm and Tamsin Kinnaird and at Abernethy Joyce White, Celia King and Jane Brown. Children enjoy craftwork, reading, games etc. No experience necessary as training will be given.
Abernethy Woman's Rural Institute (W.R.I.)
New members and visitors very welcome. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each Month at 7:15 pm from September to May. Subscriptions are £20 for the year, visitors £3 per meeting. Come along and hear our interesting talks we have lined up for this years Syllabus and join in our fun competitions.
Sunday Morning Tea & Coffee
...'BUT' we need your help to set it up and serve on a Sunday Morning after the Services at both Churches. If you would like to help please add your name to the Rota List. No experience needed and this is open to both male and females.
